SMS terms of service.

Working legal draft — attorney review required. This page describes Chicago MMA’s intended SMS practices and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before the public opt-in form is launched or a text campaign is sent.

Chicago MMA text programs.

Chicago MMA, operated by Fight Sports Chicago LLC, may offer two text-message programs: promotional updates about classes, trials, memberships, workshops, events, and gear; and customer-care messages responding to a question, class request, trial request, membership question, or event registration. The sender is Chicago MMA. These programs do not provide emergency, medical, legal, or financial services.

Your consent.

By actively selecting the SMS consent checkbox on a Chicago MMA form, you agree to receive the category of text messages identified next to that checkbox at the mobile number you provide. Promotional text messaging requires your separate affirmative written consent. Customer-care replies may be sent in response to a text message or a request you make. Consent is not a condition of purchase, attending a class, registering for a trial, or using the website. You must provide your own mobile number and be at least 18 years old, or be the parent or guardian authorized to provide consent for the number.

Message frequency and charges.

Message frequency varies based on your selected program, requests, and Chicago MMA announcements. Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge you under your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop texts.

You can revoke SMS consent at any time by replying STOP. Chicago MMA also honors the standard opt-out keywords STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, and REVOKE. Opting out takes one message. After you opt out, Chicago MMA will stop recurring SMS messages unless you later provide new express consent. A carrier or messaging provider may send one final confirmation of your opt-out.

Privacy and data practices.

Chicago MMA stores the mobile number, SMS-consent state, consent source, opt-out state, and message delivery and conversation records needed to operate the program, honor your preferences, and respond to support requests. Chicago MMA does not sell SMS consent or mobile-number lists. Read the Privacy Policy for more about collection, retention, and your choices.

Changes to this program.

Chicago MMA may update these SMS Terms when its messaging program changes. The current version is posted on this page. If you do not agree to revised terms, reply STOP to end recurring text updates or contact support for assistance.
