Based on the results of the 8-week experiment we are pleased to announce the addition of new strength and conditioning classes to the weekly schedule!

Strength & Conditioning Classes
Tuesday, Thursday 6:30-7:30PM
Saturday 10-11AM
Maximum capacity - 8

The weight room will be closed to general members during class time.

The Strength Room


We have some very exciting news to share. Construction on the gym is well under way. By October we will have double the mat space, new equipment, and a new lifting room - The Strength Room.

The Strength Room will be a dedicated personal training gym for trainers to grow their businesses and train their private clients. Each reservable lifting station will be fully equipped with the latest Rogue training equipment. When not in use, Chicago MMA members will have access to use The Strength Room.

With double the mat space, we will have double the classes, including new dedicated MMA classes and new morning and afternoon Muay Thai and grappling classes. The new schedule will be released by the end of September.

Schedule Changes for Fitness Classes Starting on Monday 10/19/2020

Starting on Monday 10/19/2020 ALL fitness classes will be indoors at the gym. Additionally, we have added the following new fitness classes:

  • Monday - Friday

    • 7AM - 8AM Open Gym (Fitness side)

    • 4PM - 5PM Open Gym (Fitness side)

  • Monday - Thursday

    • 7PM - 8PM

Reminder: ALL fitness classes including open gym require a membership with the fitness option. Masks/facial coverings are required at all times during indoor training.

Combat Sport Training in the time of Corona....

It has been nearly 6 months since the gym had its initial closure back in March 2020 due to the novel coronavirus. You can wait until things are back to normal in order to resume training. However, the reality is that things will never be the same as how they were before the COVID pandemic. We have been holding outdoor classes since June 2020 and indoor BJJ/grappling classes since July 2020 using the Chicago Department of Public Health guidelines for the Health and Fitness industry. Although it is NOT required you can even protect yourself further by wearing a mask while participating in our outdoor classes (itโ€™s mandatory to wear a facial covering/mask for indoor classes)!

Are you still trying to workout on your own? Running/jogging isnโ€™t your thing? Donโ€™t have enough fitness equipment at home or you are unsure of the actual programming needed to ensure that you are making progress toward your fitness goal(s)? Maybe you need the additional motivation from a group class or simply missing the social/community aspects of a gym? Combat sport isnโ€™t like riding a bike. The longer you wait the more of your skills you will lose! Additionally, exercise is essential for well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.
