Chicago Mixed Martial Arts is one of Chicago’s best Mixed Martial Arts and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu programs. Located in Lincoln Park, just footsteps from DePaul University, our MMA training program is designed to introduce students to martial arts in a controlled and safe environment.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is widely regarded as the single most effective martial art. Students will learn both self defense and sport jiu-jitsu techniques. In addition, classes will focus on improving physical conditioning and improving flexibility.
Kickboxing classes are designed to introduce students to striking for Mixed Martial Arts. Students will build a strong foundation by learning the basic strikes and combinations using all eight limbs: hands, legs, elbows, and knee. Once students have developed a strong base, advanced striking techniques will be taught.
No kickboxer is complete until he or she learns how to box. Boxing perfectly complements kickboxing, teaching students to more effectively strike with their hands. Students will learn the fundamentals of boxing, including stance, movement, punching, defense, and strategy.
Mixed Martial Arts classes will teach students to seamlessly integrate the striking and grappling techniques. Equally important to mixed martial arts is conditioning. Each class will have a conditioning portion that will build strength, speed, endurance, and overall physical conditioning.
CrossFit is a new strength and conditioning program that has transformed fitness. It is the main strength and conditioning program used by many police academies, tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. We have developed a new martial arts program for children and youth from ages 6 – 13, the first of its kind in Chicago.
